About me
Cecy Abarca earned her Associate of Arts in Theatre from Eastern Arizona College (2017) and her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Education and Acting from the University of Northern Colorado (2019). She has worked with Literacy Connects as a performer, teaching artist, and is currently on staff as the Arts Integration Education Programs Manager. In her role she manages a team of teaching artists and over 10 StoryShare theatre education programs. She feels grateful every day to share the mission of “Empowering young people to believe in themselves by giving voice to their original words and creative ideas.”
