About me
Christopher Totten, Assistant Director of Education/School Engagement at New Victory, is a highly trained professional with education and work experience in theater arts, pedagogical theory and early childhood through high school populations. Christopher oversees and manages the content creation and facilitation of all New Victory Teacher Professional Learning programs including Professional Learning Labs, In-School Professional Learning workshops, Pre-K Create Professional Learning Series (in partnership with New York City Public Schools), and Building Spaces of Belonging (in partnership with Ping Chong and Company). He creates all content related to New Victory School Tool Resource Guides, which offer educators and students curated art form-based and theme-based activities, student-centered creativity sheets, and dramaturgical information about artists, companies and productions presented on the New Victory stage. Christopher also works on Speak Up, Act Out and GIVE (Growing Inclusivity for Vibrant Education). Christopher has a Master’s Degree in Educational Theatre from New York University.
