About me
Emily is a Boston-based performing arts specialist and licensed Massachusetts theater educator, teaching dance and theater in Boston Public Schools. She develops and implements theater and dance opportunities for at-risk youth, believing in the power of the arts to inspire confidence and creativity. A performer for over 20 years, she has directed, choreographed, stage-managed, and produced across the Northeast, including Now That's What I Call Broadway at 54 Below in NYC. She founded and led Inspiration Performing Arts Company for 15 years, created Sharing the Spotlight, a theater program for individuals with special needs, and served as Interim Executive Director of the Marilyn Rodman Performing Arts Center before earning her master’s in Arts Administration from Boston University. Committed to accessibility and inclusion, Emily strives to make theater a space where all individuals—regardless of background or ability—can find belonging, build confidence, and experience the transformative power of the arts.
