About me
Matthew Tibbs is an assistant professor of sound design at University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music. He is chair of the Theatre Design and Production department within the conservatory and served for four years on the executive board of the Theatre Sound Designers and Composers Association (TSDCA). In addition to CCM, he has taught at University of Utah, Pacific University, and Ball State University, and he has a decade-long association with Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KC/ACTF) as a design respondent and workshop instructor. He has designed sound for productions across the country, including Utah Shakespeare Festival, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Clarence Brown Theatre, and Great River Shakespeare Festival.
