About me
MITCH MATTSON (he/him/his) is Director of Career Training and Operations at RoundaboutTheatre Company, NYC's largest not-for-profit theatre company. He leads a team of artsadministrators fostering the next generation of dynamic theatre professionals through careerand workforce development programs. He sits on the New York City Department of Education'sMedia Technology & Design Commission as an industry representative, and presents on artseducation nationally and internationally. Mitch worked regionally at Arena Stage where hiswork, sponsored by the US State Department, took him to India to create theatre with youngpeople. He taught at Kapiolani Community College in Hawaii and Crown College in Minnesota.He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the American Alliance forTheatre & Education. Through Coro LNY, Mitch is looking to learn from local leaders who arebuilding support structures for diverse workforces across industry and government partnerships.
