About me
Rebecca Burcher was born and raised in northern California and attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Dance and a BS in Community Programs for Americans with Disabilities with a specialization in Adapted Physical Activity. She has combined the two degrees and worked as a TA for Attack Theatre, Dancing Wheels Company and School, GroundWorks DanceTheater, the Center for Arts Inspired Learning (CAL), Newbridge Center for Arts & Technology, Foluke Cultural Arts Center, and more. Rebecca has taught dance, arts and crafts, theater, improvisation, Spanish, ASL, carpentry, meditation and more to over 12,000 learners ages 0-93. Burcher has served as a consultant for Rainey Institute, Buck Out Cleveland, CMSD, CAL, and The Young Innovators Collective to provide organizational support and/or staff professional development. Rebecca currently serves as the Director of Education for Talespinner Children’s Theatre, Cleveland’s dedicated children’s theatre.
