About me
Seth Laidlaw is a theater maker, connector, mover and shaker who currently serves as the Director of Planning & Operations for Education & Community Engagement at New York City Center, bridging the creativity on stage with communities throughout NYC. His career in arts administration began through a passion for storytelling that brings a sense of belonging. He spent nearly 15 years in Pittsburgh, PA where he was a part of education departments at Pittsburgh CLO, Pittsburgh Public Theater, City Theatre Company, and six years with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust developing community engagement strategies and educational programs tied to its annual presentations of Broadway, dance, theatre for young audiences, and visual arts series. Seth holds a Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Certification from the Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania.
