About me
Dr. Suzanne Katz is a veteran educator with over 30 years experience in pre-school though university level classrooms. Currently serving as a drama educator at Two Rivers PCS in Washington D.C., Suzanne wears many hats: director, curriculum writer, PD facilitator, new-teacher mentor, and arts researcher. Recent endeavors include vertical alignment of arts curriculum, puppet design and construction, and investigating patterns of student interaction and group-making in drama classrooms. In her time outside the classroom, Suzanne has both worked for and volunteered at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts directing shows on the Family Theatre Stage, evaluating programs for the Research and Evaluation Division, and giving tours to the general public.
